Transportation

Curb to curb transportation requires a rider to be able to walk from house to curb to enter vehicle.

Home to door service assists or carries the rider from the home to the vehicle and through the door of

carried, number of steps and allowable weight.

Escort service A person accompanies an older adult or a small group who need assistance getting

to and from medical appointments, shopping or banking. See Primary Outreach agencies

and Senior Centers for referral and matching with an escort program near you.

Title III of the Older Americans Act permits round trip transportation service designed to move clients to

and from services, activities and resources via a motorized vehicle.
